Breeze Live Custom Pods API

The January Macromedia Edge newsletter has an interesting article on the future of Breeze Live and custom pods. Jonathon Gay is not all that forthcoming about what to expect from the API but nevertheless it is interesting to speculate. Clearly if any Flash/FlashComm developer can get their hands dirty and build extensions to Breeze Live we're going to see a collection of new pods released in the next edition of Breeze.

Perhaps a bit experimental for now, but I can't help thinking of a Breeze Player running within Central using custom pods to blast information too and from other Central apps. Guess we'll have to wait for Breeze Live to become a bit more mainstream -- no doubt the price will stay "Enterprise" until other conferencing apps catch up.
